Белгородская областная пионерская организация

Белгородская областная пионерская организация. Первые отряды юных ленинцев были созданы под руко­водством комсомола в 1922—1923 гг. в Новом Осколе, Чернянке, Грайвороне, Старом Осколе, Белгороде, Шебекино, Короче, Валуйках. В 1924 г. в Белгородской типографии выпу­скался журнал «Юный пионер».
К 5-й годовщине пионерского движения (1927 г.) в Белгородском уезде было 95 пионерских отрядов (3 848 ребят), в Валуйском — 36 отрядов (1 308 ребят), в Грайворонском — 36 отрядов (2 137 ребят), в Старо-оскольском — 85 отрядов (3 155 ребят). В годы Ве­ликой Отечественной войны, заменяя взрослых, упорно трудились на уборке урожая и прополке сахарной све­клы ребята Корочанской, Никольской, Засосенской, Чернянской школ, они вызвали на соревнование пионе­ров других белгородских школ. Белгородские пионеры активно участвовали в сборе средств на строительство танка «Курский школьник».
В летописи Великой Отечественной немало примеров героизма юных ленинцев. Воспитанник Малояблоновскойшколы в Прохоровском районе Леня Джус в 15 лет стал сыном полка, был награжден орденом Красной Звезды и медалями. 12 октября 1944 г. во время артоб­стрела ефрейтор Джус закрыл своим телом командира. Похоронен юный герой в румынском городе Клуж. По­смертно удостоен ордена Отечественной войны II степени.
Ученик Готнянской школы Толя Маликов весной 1943 г. добился зачисления в действующую армию, стал разведчиком, участвовал в освобождении родной белго­родской земли, был награжден орденом Красной Звезды. Во время ночной разведки был смертельно ранен, по­хоронен в с. Илек-Пеньковка Ракитянского района. Юным разведчиком Титовского партизанского отряда, который действовал в Шебекинском районе, стал 14-лет­ний Гриша Беликов. В том же районе отважно воевал юный партизанский разведчик Витя Захарченко.
Пионеры трудных послевоенных лет помогали взрос­лым: собирали золу и другие удобрения для колхозных полей, проводили снегозадержание, помогали в уборке урожая, собирали колоски на сжатых полях. В лето­пись областной пионерской организации занесены тиму­ровские команды Белгорода, Старого Оскола, Корочи, сел Иловка и Хлевищи Алексеевского района, Котово Старооскольского, Принцевки Валуйского, Ивни, Прохоровки.
В 1957 г. в областной организации было 67 800 пио­неров. На полях области работали 103 ученические бри­гады — 5 600 ребят, многие из них выработали за лето по 100—150 трудодней. С 1956 г. в живописных окрест­ностях Шебекино ежегодно проводятся областные слеты юных туристов.
В начале 1979 г. в областном центре открылся город­ской Дворец пионеров со зрительным залом на 500 мест, двумя бассейнами, специально оформленными классами для занятий хора и художественной самодеятельности, кружковой работы (в 1987 г. во дворце работало более 50 кружков). В 1970—1980 гг. новые городские и район­ные Дворцы пионеров открыты в Старом Осколе, Валуйках, Ивне, Ровенках.
С 1970-х гг. большую военно-патриотическую работу ведут клубы «Поиск» при Белгородском и Староос-кольском Дворцах пионеров. Ребята уточнили сотни имен воинов, павших в 1941 —1943 гг. в боях за Белгород, Старый Оскол и окрестные села, сообщили об их моги­лах более чем тысяче семей в разных городах и селах страны. На основе собранных материалов белгородские пионеры подготовили рукописную книгу «Память».
На 1 сентября 1987 г. областная пионерская органи­зация объединяла 76 324 человека. Посланцы белгород­ских пионеров приняли участие в IX Всесоюзном слете и во Всесоюзном сборе активистов перестройки. Из трех высших наград, которых были удостоены участники встречи, — «красных грамот» Артека, одну получила делегация юных белгородцев.
