Белгородская областная организация КПСС

Белгородская областная организация КПСС. Первые большевистские группы РСДРП возникли в гг. Белгоро­де и Бирюче (Красногвардейское) вскоре по­сле II съезда партии в 1904 г. В 1917 г. появились первые организации РСДРП (б): в мае — Алексеев­ская (городская), в июне — Старооскольская (город­ская), в июле — Белгородская (городская), в октяб­ре — Валуйская (городская), в ноябре — Варваровская Алексеевского уезда и Троицкая Новооскольского уезда (волостные), в декабре — Новооскольская (го­родская). Под их влиянием на Белгородчине шел процесс большевизации Советов.
В Белгородском Совете рабочих и солдатских депу­татов -большевики уже летом 1917 г. заняли руководя­щее положение. Получив сообщение о корннловском мятеже, белгородские большевики призвали рабочих и солдат города к отпору контрреволюции. В Белгороде были организованы отряды Красной гвардии во главе с коммунистами П. П. Соколовым, Ф. М. Полосковым и А. Е. Годуном. 29 августа Белгородский комитет РСДРП (б) создал революционный штаб, главная роль в котором принадлежала большевикам во главе с И. Г. Озембловским.
В начале октября 1917 г. секретарь Белгородского комитета РСДРП (б) Н. И. Подзолков сообщал Цен­тральному Комитету партии: «К настоящему времени в организации свыше 370 членов». Это была самая крупная организация РСДРП (б) в Курской губернии.
Полную победу одержали белгородские большевики и на выборах в городскую думу. 15 октября 1917 г. пред­седателем думы был избран П. С. Костюков, город­ским головой — председатель Белгородской организации РСДРП (б) И. Г. Озембловский, членами городской уп­равы — большевики М. А. Васильев, М. Г. Григорьев, А. И. Мальский-Братальский, И. Г. Мартынов, П. П. Со­колов.
Трудящиеся Белгорода, возглавляемые большевика­ми, первыми в Курской губернии установили Советскую власть. 27 октября 1917г. в Белгороде, Старом Осколе, Алексеевке и других уездных центрах и волостях прошли митинги, манифестации, собрания, при­ветствующие власть Советов. В годы гражданской вой­ны уездные комитеты партии по призыву ЦК РКП (б) проводили мобилизацию коммунистов на фронт, рабочих и крестьян на оказание всемерной помощи Красной Ар­мии.
Среди героев гражданской войны, отмеченных выс­шей наградой Республики — орденом Красного Знаме­ни, коммунисты Белгородчины И. Г. Иванов, К. В. Ли­хачев, П. Б. Луханин, К. С. Майсюк, А. П. Михайлов­ский, Г. Т. Таран, Д. М. Таранов, Л. Д. Федоренко, П. В. Черняев и другие.
Сложными были для партийных организаций Белго­родчины годы проведения коллективизации на селе.
К началу Великой Отечественной войны партийные организации Белгородчины насчитывали более 18 тыс. коммунистов. Парторганизации и их комитеты подчини­ли всю свою политическую и организаторскую работу нуждам фронта. На фронт и в партизанские отряды уш­ли тысячи коммунистов области, многие из них были награждены боевыми орденами и медалями. Среди Ге­роев Советского Союза — уроженцев Белгородчины — большинство коммунисты.
С образованием в январе 1954 г. Белгородской области была создана областная организация КПСС.
В то время она насчитывала более 25 тыс. коммунистов. К 1987 г. областная парторганизация выросла более чем в четыре раза (101,2 тыс. членов партии). Доля рабочих в ней возросла с 28,9 до 46, 4%. С 7,2 до 27,3% увеличи­лось количество коммунистов с высшим и незакончен­ным высшим образованием и с 42,5 до 63,4% — со сред­ним и неполным средним образованием. Члены партии, работающие в отраслях материального производства, в 1954 г. составляли 72% (18 752 человека) от числа за­нятых в народном хозяйстве, к 1987 г. их стало 78,7% (67 952 человека). Все силы областной парторганизации сосредоточены на осуществлении задач перестройки как в самой организации, так и в политической, социально-экономической жизни трудящихся области.
Печатные органы областного комитета КПСС — га­зета «Белгородская правд а» и журнал «Поли­тическая агитация» (издается с апреля 1954 г., выходит 2 раза в месяц).
