Крутиков Дмитрий Иванович

Крутиков Дмитрий Иванович (1893—1932 гг.) — советский писатель, активный участник борьбы за Советскую власть на Белгородчине. Родился в Москве в семье рабочего. В 1906 г. вместе с родителями переехал в Старый Оскол. С 1907 по 1913 г. учился в Старооскольском реальном училище. В Старом Осколе начинает писать стихи, одно из них — «На смерть Л. Н. Толстого» — публикует губернская газета. Окон­чив училище, поступил в Петербургский (Петроград­ский) первый техникум, с третьего курса которого ушел на фронт.
Возвратившись в начале 1918 г. в Старый Оскол, ра­ботал в уездном земельном отделе, затем — председате­лем комиссии уездного военкомата по борьбе с дезер­тирством, заместителем военного комиссара уезда. Осенью 1919 г. сражался с деникинцами в рядах 13-й армии, а после освобождения Старого Оскола вошел в состав ревкома. В 1920—1921 гг. Д. Крутиков — член Старооскольского укома партии и уездного исполкома, редколлегии «Известий Старооскольского уездного Со­вета рабочих, крестьянских и солдатских депутатов». Поворотным в судьбе Д. И. Крутикова был 1925 г. — в «Библиотеке юного пионера» появился его рассказ «Голуби», после чего он целиком отдался литературной работе. За неполные семь лет им создан цикл расска­зов о красных кавалеристах, роман «Черная половина» и повести «Целина», «Кудеяров вир», «Попутно» — о на­чале социалистического переустройства села, пьеса «Стер­жень», повесть «Белый Каин», по которой известный ре­жиссер Я. А. Протазанов поставил один из первых со­ветских звуковых фильмов «Две встречи».
Именем Крутикова названа одна из улиц в Старом Осколе.
