Костюков Петр Александрович

Костюков Петр Александрович (1879—1956 гг.) — активный участник установления власти в Белгороде. Родился в Полтаве. В годы учебы в Харьковском тех­ническом железнодорожном училище стал революционе­ром-подпольщиком. Переехав в Белгород, установил свя­зи с организацией РСДРП.
После победы Февральской революции машинист Костюков вместе с И. Г. Озембловским ак­тивно участвует в создании городской большевистской организации. В Совете рабочих и солдатских депутатов становится вице-председателем,- избирается председа­телем городской думы. В 1918, 1921—1923 гг. секретарь уездного комитета партии, делегат уездных съездов Со­ветов. Позже работал в Наркомате путей сообщения.
Имя Костюкова присвоено одной из улиц Белгорода.
