Бобровский Владимир Семенович

Бобровский Владимир Семенович — профессиональ­ный революционер, член Коммунистической партии с 1898 г., один из организаторов советской ветеринарной службы. Родился 27 октября 1873 г. в Белгороде в семье директора учительской семинарии. Среднее обра­зование получил в Нижнем Новгороде. Учился в Харь­ковском ветеринарном институте. В Харькове в 1894— 1898 гг. принимал деятельное участие в революционной работе среди студентов. В 1898 г. вступил в РСДРП.
С дипломом ветеринарного врача приехал в Москву, где активно включился в работу по пропаганде марк­сизма, продолжал подпольную работу в Харькове и Киеве. 14 февраля 1902 г. был арестован в Москве по де­лу Киевского комитета РСДРП и организации «Искры».
В Лукьяновской тюрьме г. Киева находился вместе с Н. Э. Бауманом, с которым Бобровского связывала тес­ная дружба (оба по образованию были ветеринарными врачами). В августе 1902г. Бауман и Бобровский вместе с группой товарищей — активных искровцев совершили побег за границу, в Цюрих.
Весной 1904 г. Бобровский нелегально возвратился в Россию и в Тифлисе был избран членом комитета Кав­казской социал-демократической организации. Вскоре был схвачен охранкой и отправлен в сибирскую ссылку на 5 лет, но в Ростове-на-Дону освобожден по манифе­сту 17 октября 1905 г. В 1906 г. снова арестован и вы­слан в Новгородскую губернию.
В 1914 г. принимал участие в организации больше­вистского журнала «Рабочий труд». Призванный в армию, вел пропаганду среди солдат Серпуховского гарни­зона.
После Февральской революции Бобровский — один из организаторов Серпуховского комитета РСДРП (б), член местного Совета рабочих и солдатских депутатов.
В первые послеоктябрьские годы Бобровский — один из организаторов ветеринарного дела, с весны 1921 г. — начальник Центрального ветеринарного управ­ления. В конце 1923 г. из-за болезни Бобровский сме­нил работу, стал одним из руководителей института журналистики. Умер 30 марта 1924 г. в Москве, похоро­нен на Ваганьковском кладбище рядом с Н. Э. Баума­ном.
